The completed computer centre in Mfuleni:

  • Delft (The Nelson Mandela Peace Park)
The computer centre and business centre are thriving; community members are receiving daily meals from our kitchens and the food garden is thriving.
  • Mfuleni (The Mfuleni Community Park)
Many children come to the park outside the centre after school. We provide meals for these children, and use some of the produce in our vegetable gardens in these meals. The computer centre is doing well; as is the Grant Access Project.

We develop community centres within our project sites to enable our community volunteers to work from a fixed location. These facilities enable the communities to effectively manage their services. The facilities are usually centrally situated to give easy access for everyone and boosts their sense of belonging.
