Government programmes

We realise that public private partnership is the most effective and efficient method to improve service delivery and community development. We have therefore signed agreements with government whereby they provide the funding for certain projects and we manage the programme and all its details.

These programmes are designed in line with government policies. We are building community centres in Gauteng and the Western Cape and our buildings conform to government department specialisation.

We have entered into public private partnership with the Department of Social Development, the National Lottery, the City of Johannesburg and the European Union. We have partnered with the Unicity of Cape Town as well.

The Department of Social Development will pay 50 percent of the costs to build our community centres and once the centres are operational, the Department will pay R9 per child per day for 20 days of the month, every month of the year. Considering that we will be drawing close to 2000 children to each of our centres every month, this is a substantial subsidy.
