The latest member of the Lubner family to follow in her grandfather's steps and get involved in working with the previously disadvantaged, is Takara Lubner (16), who is a student at Crawford College Sandton.

Takara is on the Interact committee and is also involved with MaAfrika Tikkun Youth, which is a group that does projects with the children and youth in the townships.

Takara Lubner's father is Marc Lubner, the CEO of MaAfrika Tikkun. Bertie Lubner, the Chairman of MaAfrika Tikkun is Marc's father. Philanthropy, giving and development form the culture of the Lubner family.
