Why? 

For Australia to pay tribute to this great global icon of our time, Nelson Mandela, for his 90th Birthday and to assist in supporting Mandela's dream of eradicating poverty via the distribution and donation of all net proceeds (target: $1million) to designated Mandela charity MaAfrika Tikkun. Our target specific project in South Africa is the development of an Early Childhood Development Centre/ Youth Development Centre/ Palliative Care + Admin Centre (details available on request).


How?

Funds will be raised through:

  1. Ticket sales – Individual ($500 pp) and corporate tables

  2. Auction items – Artwork by renowned Australian and International artists including Greg Wilson, Arthur Boyd, Fabian Perez.
    - This is being co-ordinated by Bob Lavigne, a leading personality in the art world.
    - The original artworks will be auctioned on the night and limited prints may also be produced for future sale, with proceeds donated to MaAfrika Tikkun.
    - David Moore Photography - never before released photos of Nelson Mandela.
    - Luxury Safari in South Africa, including 2 Premium Economy return airtickets - courtesy of S A Tourism and Qantas.
