MaAfrika Tikkun Annual Sports Day and Mini-Olympics took place on Saturday 21 November 2009 at The Johannesburg Stadium.
Over 700 children from our four ECD and Youth Centres in Gauteng articipated in this event and the previous week's rain cleared up for us
thankfully!
We would like to thank the following for their overwhelming support and contribution to the day - The Blank Family of Australia for funding the event, Crawford College Lonehill for their funding of the lunch for the kids and ten of their learners volunteering on the day; SAB Miller for donating 1600 bottles of water, Mimmos for donating 720 slices of pizza; FNB for donating a box of soccer balls and RAM Couriers for generously increasing their operational support of the ECD Centre in Orange Farm.
