Samoa (Lalomanu) Tsunami Relief Fund
Coming together in support of those in need
Many
community services both local and abroad have contributed towards
rebuilding Lalomanu and re-establishing it as the premium holiday
destination. Sadly they have a long trek ahead of them.
Meanwhile
the locals continue to struggle to come to terms with grief and loss
related issues and are banding together more than ever in an effort to
overcome adversity.
The
local children appear to be suffering in silence as a result of their
inability to articulate their needs whilst other community issues take
priority.
The
Samoa (Lalomanu) Relief Fund will be directed towards costs associated
with recreational activities for the children of Lalomanu, hopefully
creating a neighbourhood with facilities that the children can utilise
to develop necessary social skills and perhaps divert their energies to
other more important tasks such as having fun.
